Enrollment and Employment Affair Department

Enrollment and Employment Affair Department of Yunnan Minzu University, stablished in May, 2009, is set for fulfilling resource integration and perfection and for enforcing undergraduates’ enrollment and graduates’ employment recommendation. This department is composed of 3 section offices: Enrollment Office, Service Center of Graduates’ Employment and Entrepreneurship, and Integrated Information Office, with 12 employees.

The main tasks of Enrollment Office contain: conducting policies and regulations of enrollment work; establishing regulations for enrollment; from the reality of this university, setting annual enrollment plan and enrollment plans for every province and major; editing and printing enrollment leaflets and finishing the propaganda and consultation; connecting with enrollment office of other provinces and colleges to conduct the mutually exchanging enrollment; organizing examination of special majors; setting enrollment plan and conducting it; participating in the supervision of College Entrance Examination; Self-study Examination, and Adult-education Examination in Yunnan Province; filing for enrollment; exploring the new mechanism of enrollment in new era; enforcing the working principle to keep uncorrupted; and finishing daily managing affairs and other tasks from leaders.

The main tasks of Service Center of Graduates’ Employment and Entrepreneurship contain: setting the employment direction plan for graduates; opening employment direction lessons and speeches and offer consultation and service for graduates’ employment and job choice; counting first employment rate and final employment rate and reporting to the university every week; collecting, managing, counting, reporting and filing information of graduates; establishing information platform via releasing employment information and job seeking information in employment information website; investigating employment situation of graduates and collecting information of talents demands to master the social demands of talents; organizing students to participate in employment fair, and organizing campus employment fair for mutual choice; positively recommending graduates to enterprises; declaring teachers’ certificate diploma; encouraging superior graduates choice, reporting and awarding who spontaneously get employment in borderland, important enterprises and hard business; coordinating to schools to finish graduates’ political education and civilized leaving; managing the use of diploma costumes; organizing graduation ceremony, employment sending and re-sending; filing and delivering files for graduates; maintaining or trans-sending files and census registers for ungraduated students; finishing annual summary, award, and employment quality record; finishing daily managing jobs and other tasks from leaders.

The duties of Integrated Information Office contain: dealing with daily conducting affairs, collecting, counting and recording information; organizing integrated files management and secrecy, transmitting official documents in inner department, and printing, managing, releasing, and delivering documents and materials; website construction, financial declaration, property censorship, and statistics reporting; and finishing daily managing tasks and other tasks from leaders of this department.
